Can I get a subscription for personal use?
Subscriptions to Shakespeare In Bits Live! are only available to schools, school districts or institutions. Individual users can avail of our PC/Mac, Mac App Store, iPad or iPhone editions for personal use.

Is there a minimum number of users for which I can buy subscriptions?
For us to provide this service cost-effectively, annual subscriptions must be purchased for a minimum of 30 users currently. Cost per user decreases with an increasing number of users.

What is Adobe AIR and why does the installer install it?
Adobe AIR is a technology that allows you to run Flash content outside of your browser. The Shakespeare In Bits player is built on top of Adobe AIR. Will Shakespeare In Bits harm my computer?

How are licenses tied to user accounts?
One license gives you the right to run the product under a single user account on a single machine. The registration information for the product is stored within an individual operating system user account settings.

What license do I need to use this in my classroom?
Licensing is per user account on a single machine, so if you're using the product on a single machine to display via a whiteboard/overhead projector, then you only need one license. However, if you want to install the product on multiple machines, (e.g. for general student use,) then you will need one license for each user account/machine on which you want to install the product.

What if I want to run the product in a lab setting, where students may be logging into different machines at different times?
